An Open Petition to God (Poem)

I wish instead of parrots

God let dogs be the ones to speak.

I want to know what they're barking;

I'd love to know what they think.

So here's my petition, Lord:

Teach dogs all of your words,

And save the tweeting and chirping

For the pesky little birds.
